So there we were sometime last year, March 2013 to be more precise, in Mumbai after quite a while to perform along with a bunch of India’s finest artists in the field of folk and fusion music.
This was the British Council’s Folk Nations Project and we took the stage at the superb venue, blue frog.
In the end, it was another breakthrough for Naga folk music to permeate into a new arena. Whether we made an impression or not would be pretty subjective. Suffice to say, the media gave us a flattering coverage and sharing the stage with the likes of Raghu Dixit, Papon and introducing Li to the baffled Mumbai crowd was an experience in itself. And a handful of dear friends came out to support us. Thank you.
